It's really simple and creates a lovely piece of art for them to keep. Pin the photo above to save this craft for later! You will need:Coloured paperScissorsPencil/penGlue Step 1Cut out 6 hot air balloon shapes from the coloured paper. I decided to make mine two different colours, however you could create a multicoloured hot air balloon! Try to cut out the shapes all at the same time to ensure they are all the same size. Step 2Fold all of the hot air balloon shapes in half. Then, take one piece and glue one half to the blue paper. Glue the other half and stick the next piece to it, as shown above. Step 3Continue step 2 until you have stuck all the hot air balloon shapes together. Then stick the last piece to the blue paper. Cut out a shape for the basket and glue it underneath the hot air balloon, joining them with two lines drawn with a pen or pencil. Step 4Create as many hot air balloons as you wish. Then cut out some cloud shapes from white paper and stick these down and you're finished!Subscribe to my newsletter to receive fun craft ideas weekly! Follow Pinterest Leave a comment
