3D Hot Air Balloon Pictures
This DIY 3D hot air balloon picture craft is a great activity to do with the kids. It's really simple and creates a lovely piece of art for them to keep.

You will need:
Coloured paper
Scissors
Pencil/pen
Glue
Step 1
Cut out 6 hot air balloon shapes from the coloured paper. I decided to make mine two different colours, however you could create a multicoloured hot air balloon! Try to cut out the shapes all at the same time to ensure they are all the same size.
Step 2
Fold all of the hot air balloon shapes in half. Then, take one piece and glue one half to the blue paper. Glue the other half and stick the next piece to it, as shown above.
Step 3
Continue step 2 until you have stuck all the hot air balloon shapes together. Then stick the last piece to the blue paper. Cut out a shape for the basket and glue it underneath the hot air balloon, joining them with two lines drawn with a pen or pencil.
Step 4
Create as many hot air balloons as you wish. Then cut out some cloud shapes from white paper and stick these down and you're finished!
