Whale Phone Holder Craft
Make a fun whale phone holder out of air dry clay. This simple craft is great fun and you can keep it forever to prop up your phone! You could make these phone holders as DIY gifts to give to friends and loved ones.
To make this phone holder you will need:
Step 1:
Take a large section of the air dry clay and mould into the shape of a whale using your hands. In order for it to hold the phone upright the whale's head will need to be quite round and the tail will need to curve upwards - similar to the shape in the image above. Smooth out any creases or wrinkles and leave the clay to dry overnight. It will help to prop the tail up with something so that it doesn't drop when drying.
Step 2:
Mix the white and blue paint together to form a light shade of blue. Use this paint to paint the underneath of the whale. Then use the blue paint to paint the top of the whale. Paint a small fin over the top of the light blue paint. Leave to dry and paint another coat if necessary.
Step 3:
Once the paint is dry, use the black pen to draw eyes and a mouth onto the whale. Then place your phone in between the tail and the head and your DIY phone holder is complete!
