DIY Tassel Keyring Craft
Make these funky colourful tassel keyrings with only a few materials. Kids will love making these, they could attach them to their school bags for decoration. Or you could make one for yourself!
To make this tassel keyring craft you will need:
A fork (to make the pom pom)
Step 1
Follow these instructions to make a mini pom pom out of some orange wool. Make sure you don't cut the two ends of the wool used to tie the pom pom together, leave them long as shown in the image above.
Step 2
Cut 20 strips of blue wool, about 12 cm long. For a fuller and thicker tassel try cutting a few more pieces of wool.
Step 3
Thread some colourful pony beads onto one end of the orange wool that is attached to the pom pom. Then hold all of the blue pieces of wool together and fold in half. Add the end of the orange wool to the folded blue wool, and then tie it all in place with some yellow wool as shown in the photograph above. Once the wool is tied in place you can trim the orange end so that it doesn't show in the tassel.
Finally, wrap the end of the yellow wool around the tassel about six times and tie in place at the back. Then tie the other end of the orange wool (attached to the pom pom) to the metal keyring and your keyring is finished!
